Recently I had a pleasure to shoot a wedding at Dunglass Estate. It was my second time there and I really enjoyed it. The chapel is an amazing piece of architecture. A great venue for the wedding. Not a long drive from Edinburgh. If you’re still looking for the perfect place to get married, Dunglass Estate will not disappoint you.
Lorna and David are a lovely couple. They both work in the same office as engineers and have loads of passions. They decided to have an intimate wedding and celebrated with the closest friends and family.
The weather on the day wasn’t looking great ( as you know Scottish weather is unpredictable) but it stayed dry for the whole day which was great.
With no so many guests on the day, there was no stress involved at all and everyone enjoyed it.
After the ceremony and a drink, I took Lorna and David for a short walk around the estate to take few photos of them. They stayed relaxed the whole time and we managed to get some really nice shots. I have met them couple days before the wedding so they knew what to do and I didn’t really have to tell them how to pose or where to look. It was a great fun for them and myself.
Quite a nice part of the day was the meal. The taste and look were amazing. The plates looked like paintings and just by looking at it you could tell that is going to be yummy.
Evening came quickly and everyone moved to the next room for cake cutting. The cake itself looked great too and Lorna and David couldn’t wait to taste it. They cut a piece and started feeding each other. That’s when the fun started 🙂
I think that every wedding should be enjoyed to the limit as in most cases ( 😉 ) it happens once in a lifetime.
Below you can see some photos from the day.
